SPECIFICATIONS

The voltmeter forms the lid for the current source. The resistivity system uses periodically inverted direct current (DC) to measure the apparent resistivity of the earth. The total mass of the instrument is 21 kg and the dimensions are 450 x 250 x 230 mm

  1. 3-digit LCD display.
  2. Provision for four pairs of potential electrodes.
  3. Built-in compensator for compensating the self-potential on the electrodes.
  4. Input impedance of 10 Meg ohm.
  5. Internal rechargeable lead acid battery.
  6. Internal battery charger with "charge in progress" indicator (22OVAC).
  7. Ranges: 10V, 1V, 100mV, 10mV and 1mV full-scale.
  8. Range select with push-button control and LED indication of range.

CURRENT SOURCE

  2. Maximum output power of 200 W.
  3. Maxirnum output voltage of 600V.
  4. Maximum output current of 1A subject to the 200W limit.
  5. Output voltage in steps: 25, 70, 150, 300 and 600V
  6. Output voltage selected with two push-buttons, UP/DOWN.
  7. Current ranges are 1A, 100mA, 10mA and lmA full-scale.
  8. Range select with push-button control and LED indication of range
  9. Internal rechargeable lead acid battery, capacity 10 Ah.
  10. Internal battery charger with "charge in progress" indicator (220VAC).

The current source outputs a high direct current voltage that can be dangerous. Care should be taken when handling the current wires.
